Mike Macari
St. Louis Children’s Hospital board member
Macari is a current member and former chair of the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation Development Board. He and his wife, Leslie, are proud parents of three children, including a daughter who was diagnosed with neonatal progeroid syndrome (NPS) at birth. In 2022, the family founded the Neonatal Progeroid Foundation, the first advocacy group for this rare disease, dedicated to raising awareness and supporting research into conditions like NPS. Collaborating with WashU Medicine, the foundation hosted the inaugural Family Meet and Greet at SLCH in August 2023 to begin documenting a natural history for NPS. Macari is the Director of Business Development at Enterprise Mobility.
